Our game plan was to be patient on offense, take time off the clock on every possession and make our shots. We did that, but couldnt come close shooting the ball. Marquette has two big guys inside that we wanted to hold down and did for the most part, Maroon coach Pete Pericolosi said.
Marquettes pivot performers, 67 AJ Grazulis and 66 Mark Pap, combined for 11 points but keyed a 27-14 rebounding edge.
Over the final two frames Menominee ran off a 19-13 scoring edge but couldnt notch the win.
