Harvey K. Berg, 66, of Stephenson, Mi. passed away on Friday, Feb. 15 at his residence.
Born Aug. 29, 1946 to the late Harvey and Ella (Hayward) Berg in Menominee, he graduated from Menominee High School Class of 1964 and joined the United States Army, where he served from 1964 to 1970.
On Sept. 3, 1988 he married Judy Young in Marinette and she preceded him in death in August of 2003. He was a member of the VFW in Menominee and was a laborer in the construction industry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to camp.
Surviving are a sister, Ardelle (Gordon) Dionne of Port Washington; a brother, Dale Berg of Menominee; a niece, Carolyn (Steve) Werth of East Troy; two nephews, Daniel Kroening of Milwaukee and Glen (Vera) Kroening of Jacksonville, Fla. and three great-nieces and one great-nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Judy.
Family and friends may call at Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home on Thursday, Feb. 21 from 1 p.m. until time of services at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Dale Brown of The First United Methodist Church of Menominee will officiate and military honors will be conducted by The 20 Year Club. Burial will be in Mellen Township Cemetery, Wallace, Mi.
