THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Friends called on Saturday, March 2 from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church in the Town of Green Valley, for Wyatt Schroeder, 15, of Gillett. Pastor Bill Gruenstern officiated and Kuehl Funeral Home assisted the family.
An exceptional student, he was known for his go to attitude and commitment to school activities. He was involved in many extracurricular activities such as football, track and field, pep band, high school band, Future Business Leaders of America, forensics, the mayors advisory board, the school newspaper (T.I.G.I.L.), HI-Q, student council and was the recipient of an application to the National Honors Society.
Outside of school he had many other interests and passions, such as video games, drawing, playing piano, creating stopmotion animation, studying world history and collecting World War II memorabilia.
He is survived by his parents, Faron Schroeder and Yvette Reed; siblings, Amadeus, Jared and Paige Schroeder; grandparents, Laurel Schroeder and Philip (Janice) Reed; great-grandmother, June Schroeder and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Preceding him in death was his grandfather, Vernon Schroeder.
