Sally A. Stansbury-Turcek
Rev. Peter Dorn officiated at memorial services on Monday, March 4 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto at 8 p.m., for Sally A. Stansbury-Turcek, 66, of Oconto.
The family received relatives and friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6 p.m. until time of service and continued after the service until 9 p.m. She passed away Tuesday, Feb. 26 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.
Born Sept. 9, 1946 in LeMark, Tex. to the late David and Bennie (Smart) Stansbury, she married Raymond E. Turcek on Aug. 7, 2005.
She served six years as a captain in the United States Marine Corps. She raised Gypsy horses, attending many horse shows. Horses, cats and dogs were her children. She worked as Human Resource Director at Schreiber Foods for over 15 years.
Surviving are her husband, Raymond; an uncle, Harry (Carolyn) LaNoue of New Mexico and a cousin, Rick (Cathy) LaNoue of Colorado.
