Corrine E. Jenkins
Corrine E. Jenkins, 89, of Menominee, Mich., passed away on Wednesday, March 6 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay. She was born on Sept. 4, 1923 to the late Edward and Myrtle (Rassmusen) Olsen in Menominee, Mich. She graduated from Menominee High School. On Oct. 14, 1943 she married Harold Jenkins in Menominee, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 11, 2000.
A member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Lady Elks, she enjoyed playing bingo, going to the YMCA and spending time with her family. She was a beautician and the couple were previous owners of the West End Schooner.
Survived include two daughters, Lynn (Jeffery) Howarth of Menominee, Mich. and Paula Uecke of Marinette; two sons, Gary (Karen) Jenkins of New Berlin and Barry (Sandy) Jenkins of Las Vegas, Nev.; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Georgia Jensen.
Private family services were held at the Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Marinette.
