THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Sophie Musielinski, 92, of Wausaukee, passed away on Sunday, March 10 at Bay Area Medical Center. She was born in Poland on Dec. 6, 1920, the daughter of Stanislaw and Franciszka (Chmielecka) Lazarczyk. She was a hard worker and enjoyed dancing and singing, and loved taking casino trips. She and her husband, Henry lived in the Northwoods for the past 24 years.
Survivors are her husband, Henry of Wausaukee; a son, Paul (Clara) Grala of Chicago; two granddaughters; and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John; and brothers and sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 13 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Wausaukee. Family and friends called from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at church on Wednesday. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Chicago.
