THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
The family of Amelia Schroeder, 91, of Wausaukee is honoring her wishes to ask her friends to drop by for a good time and to reminisce about her life. A party in her memory is planned for Saturday, April 27 at Newinghams, Wausaukee from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. She passed away Wednesday evening, Nov. 21, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.
The daughter of John and Karolina (Jandersack) Viator was born in Freesoil, Mi. on Nov. 12, 1921 and moved with her family to Chicago, Ill. and then to Wausaukee, where she married Carl Schroeder, jr. in 1941. He preceded her in death in May, 1993.
She is survived by three children, Carl III (Judy) and Paul (Ruth) Schroeder and Suzen OBrien; a sister, Jean Dabney of Arizona; 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
