Plan For 36th Picnic
Silver Cliff--Members of the Silver Cliff Fire & Rescue Auxiliary held their first meeting of the year Monday, April 8 at the Town Hall. President Mary Wagner welcomed members and guest Barb Mollen.
Plans are underway for the 36th annual fundraising picnic to be held Saturday, Aug. 10. Committees and job responsibilities were reviewed.
To add some extra fun to the parade that precedes the start of the picnic, the Auxiliary is offering an award for the best float entry. Anyone interested in entering a unit (businesses, groups or individuals), contact Paul Farley at 715-757-2484.
The next meeting is Monday, May 13 at 10 a.m. will be held at the Town Hall. A salad and dessert luncheon hosted by Sue Vandenberg will follow the business meeting. All ladies interested in joining are welcome to attend.
