2013 Bug Splatter Ride To Benefit Twin Bridge Rescue
Twin Bridge Rescue Squad, Inc. has set Saturday, June 8th, for their annual Bug Splatter Ride fund raiser. On-site registration begins at 10 a.m. at Lakeside Bar and Grill, N11120 Newton Lake Road, Athelstane, with the ride leaving at noon. The Lakeside Bar and Grill will have breakfast available during registration.
The Bug Splatter Ride takes a scenic route through portions of Marinette and Oconto Counties with three stops along the way. Riders are given a target to place on their motorcycle or vehicle in a location they choose. The target with the bug Splattered closest to the bulls-eye wins. There are 50/50 raffles, meat raffles, prize raffles and prizes for the top three Splatters. The cost for the annual ride is $20 per driver and $5 per passenger with all proceeds going to benefit Twin Bridge Rescue Squad.
After the ride there is food provided by Lakeside Bar and Grill and an evening of fun and excitement for everyone with a DJ and several raffles, including a big screen TV drawing and the drawing for the 2013 Polaris Sportsman ATV to be given away along with a $250 and $100 prize. There are still a few tickets left for the ATV raffle which can be purchased from area businesses and from members of Twin Bridge Rescue Squad, Inc. for $10 each.
Twin Bridge Rescue Squad, Inc. is a non-profit volunteer rescue squad serving the Town of Stephenson 24/7/365 with two units and a dedicated staff of EMS professionals. New members are welcome with all training paid for by Twin Bridge Rescue.
