William Bill B. Gregory, 52, of Menominee passed away on Friday, April 19 at UW-Health in Madison.
Born on Oct. 3, 1960 to the late John and Marilyn (Brink) Gregory, he graduated from Menominee High School and attended UW-Marinette and Northern Michigan University.
Until his illness he worked for Walter Brothers for many years. His passion was sports, particularly Menominee sports. He Coached Y-football, YMCA Tee-Ball, track and served in various capacities for Little League baseball, Menominee youth baseball and the Menominee Hornets football. More recently he could often be seen on the sideline or in the stands, taking stats, running the clock, selling tickets, doing anything he could to support the Maroons.
He is survived by a sister, Sally (Jim) Shaver of Marquette, Mi.; a niece and her two children; an uncle, John (Laurie) Brink; three cousins and many friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; grandparents and an aunt, Mary Hohimer.
Friends may call at the Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home on Wednesday April 24 from 4 p.m. until time of the funeral services at 6 p.m. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. A memorial will be established in his name, please direct donations to Sally Shaver.
