Joyce Lucille Harris, 85, of Menominee passed away on Tuesday, April 16.
Born on Nov. 22, 1928 in Menominee to the late Raymond and Lucille (Boucher) Betzinger, she married Robert Harris on Aug. 19, 1946. He preceded her in death in 2002.
She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She took pride in her family and enjoyed caring for them and also loved shopping with her grandchildren. She loved the Lord and was a member of the Jimmy Swaggart Ministries in Baton Rouge, La.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Robin) Peterson and Darlene (John) Buscher; two sons, Robbie (Gloria) Harris and Scott (Cheryl) Harris, both of Menominee; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Sue (Vernon) Mathews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Robert, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Jamie Peterson and a sister, Gloria Luchene.
In honor of her wishes, private services were held for the family with Pastor Robert Jewett offering the prayers. Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home assisted the family. A memorial fund has been established in her name. Expressions of sympathy and kindness should be directed to the family members.
