Bonnie L. Knutson, 66, of Menominee passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 20 at her home.
Born April 28, 1946 in Marinette to Donald and Anna Pecor, she resided in the twin city area all of her life and was a graduate of Marinette High School, Class of 1964.
She was married to Lawrence Larry Knutson on Aug. 27, 1966 and worked at the former Fish, Net & Twine in Menominee and when her children were young, as a classroom aide and volunteer at Roosevelt School. She most recently had been employed as a bartender at Jeffs Cactus Bar in Marinette. Bonnie will be remembered for always being there for her family and being helpful to people, even those she hardly knew.
She is survived by her children, a son, Larry, jr. of Menominee and three daughters, Tammy (Paul) Quinn of Heyworth, Ill., Susan (Anthony) Corrie of Whitmore Lake, Mi. and Melinda of Marinette; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Henry Pecor of Peshtigo and three sisters, Joanne (Ronald) Meyers of Peshtigo, Peggy (Steve) Edwin of Menominee and Donna (Claude) Eichenour of Houston, Tex.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry on June 27, 2006.
Friends may call at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home, Marinette, after 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24 until time of funeral services at 6 p.m. Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
