James R. Parrette
James R. Parrette, 55, of Marinette passed away on Saturday, April 20 at home after a short battle with lung cancer.
Born on Nov. 21, 1957 to Richard and Helen (Roehl) Parrette in Menominee, he graduated from Menominee High School in 1976. He currently was working at Marinette Marine.
On Sept. 21, 1991, he married Beverly Boucher at St. Joseph's Church in Marinette. He was a member of Holy Family Parish, the Laborers Local 330, and the Contractors Union. He loved fishing, snowmobiling and riding his Harley motorcycle.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly; three children, Nathan Parrette, Jessica Parrette and Nicholas Parrette; his mother, Helen Parrette of Menominee; a brother, Jeff (fiance, Sue) Parrette of Menominee; a sister, Cathy (Paul) Smiley of Marinette; nieces and a nephew; his father-in-law, Bernie Boucher and sister-in-law, Patty Parrette.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard; maternal and paternal grandparents and a niece, Kelsey Pogrant.
Friends may call at Thielen Funeral Home on Saturday, April 27 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. with a luncheon to follow. Thielen Funeral Home is assisting the family.
