CYI Summer Youth Programs
Crivitz Youth, Inc. (CYI) Child Development Center announces summer programs.
Twelve swimming lessons are scheduled for Monday and Wednesday mornings June 10 to July 24 at the Marinette River Cities Community swimming pool. There will be no sessions the week of July 1-5.
CYI vehicles will leave the parking lot at 8:30 a.m. and return at 11:30 a.m. The cost is $95 per child, the same price as last year. Children four and older are eligible to participate. Parents have the option of paying half of the cost at registration, with the balance due no later than June 26. As in the past, CYI will contribute funds to underwrite the program. Enrollment closes on June 1.
The center offers a variety of activities for children ages 2-1/2 -3-1/2 and 4-6 years old Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon and after rest time June 10 through Aug. 30. There will be arts, crafts, music, finger plays, indoor and outdoor activities and older children will also go on field trips. Lunch is included in the cost.
The school-age summer adventure program goes June 10 through Aug. 30 from 9:15 to 11 a.m. Children ages 7 to 12 are eligible. There will be arts and crafts, Thursday field trips, weekly walks to the library and a summer reading program.
The Child Development Center offers year-round child care for ages 6 weeks to 12 years from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
