Girl Scout Carnival at Peshtigo June 2
The first annual Girl Scout Carnival for the Marinette/Menominee County area of Marinette, Peshtigo, Menominee, Crivitz, Coleman and Wausaukee will be held at Badger Park in Peshtigo on Sunday, June 2 from 1 to 4 p.m. Purpose of the carnival is to raise awareness of Girl Scouting in the area and to raise funds for programs for the girls including field trips, camp, etc. There will be a silent auction and theme baskets auction.
Planned for the event are many carnival games such as ring toss, pick a duck, lolly pop tree, face painting, fishing game, cookie walk, hole in one golf and more. Hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos, soda, water and ice cream will be among food sold.
The public is welcome.
Tickets are 25 cents and most games are only one ticket. Silent auction is 1 to 3 p.m.
The Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes serves 345 girls and 100 adults. Membership dues are $20 for girls and $15 for adults. Financial assistance is available.
