Daniel P. Barney, 67, of Menominee, MI. passed away on Saturday, May 4 at the Luther Home in Marinette, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on Jan. 17, 1946 in Newberry, MI to the late Oliver and Clara (Snyder) Barney, he married Kandi Standridge in Wallace, MI on Sept. 15, 2007, was a self employed truck driver for many years and loved fishing, spending time with his friends and dogs and was known to be a jokester and story teller.
Survivors include his wife, Kandi Standridge of Menominee, MI; two sons, Todd (Jackie) Barney of Munising, MI and Lee Standridge of Menominee, MI; daughter, Jamie Barney of Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a brother, Gordon Duke (Ruth) Snyder of Munising, MI.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Olive Ann.
Family and friends will call at Anderson Kell Funeral Home, Menominee, on Wednesday, May 8 after 3 pm until time of Memorial Service at 6 pm. Pastor Dave Christenson will officiate.
