Witt Ford Announces Dealership Expansion Project
Pat Witt, president of Witt Ford in Crivitz, announces a major expansion of the business located on Highway 141 in Crivitz has started. Four additional service stalls for a total of more than 3200 square feet are planned along with a vehicle delivery area for use in inclement weather.
Work on the project began on Monday, May 13 and completion is expected around Aug. 1. Superior Steel Systems of Iron Mountain will be general contractor for the addition and many local sub-contractors will be used. Witt said, We want to keep as much business in the local community as possible. some of the local sub-contractors are Richlen Excavating, Kwiatkowski Concrete, Dama Plumbing and Heating, and J&T Electric.
With the addition of four more service bays, the Quick Lane portion of the business will double in size. Several more employees are expected to be added to the work force once the project is completed. Presently Witt Ford in Crivitz employs 25 people.
The Witt family has been selling vehicles in the Crivitz area since the company was founded by Pats father, Valentine Witt in 1945. The family also owns a Ford and Lincoln dealership in Sturgeon Bay. Pat added, We are proud to make another investment in the future of Crivitz and be able to better serve our customers.
