Loomis Historical Meeting June 6
The Loomis Historical Society will meet in regular session on Thursday, June 6 at 1 p.m. at the Town of Lake Hall. Following the meeting, John Helfert of Menominee will present a program on the Menominee Indians. He is an educator each spring to hundreds of school children who go to the Chappee Rapids Learning Center to hear talks by Helfert about the Menominee Indians who lived along the banks of the river and show some of their tools and crafts.
Ken and Blanche Swick will provide the lunch. Anyone interested in hearing Helferts presentation is welcome to attend. For more information call Pat Kaufman at 715-854-2997.
