Bank Robbery Investigation Still Going On

The Marinette County Sheriff Department continues its investigation of the one year old armed robbery of the Pembine branch of Bank North which happened on May 22, 2012. The FBI is also involved in the investigation.
The department received notice of the robbery about 9:56 a.m. that Tuesday morning. The lone gunman entered the bank and was described as 6-feet or slightly taller, medium to large build and weighing 200-pounds or more. He was wearing a maroon vest over a long sleeved shirt or jacket, long pants and newer light colored boots. He wore a shoulder length dark wig with sun glasses and a dark brimmed hat. The top of his right wrist had a star shaped tattoo with a red center and additional tattooing going up his right arm
The robber drove away in a 1994 Forest Green Chevrolet Blazer, four door with small chrome around the wheels with Wisconsin license plates FW-2865. The vehicle was later reported found abandoned several miles from the scene.
The Sheriff Department is still seeking information and asks anyone with information to call the department at 715-732-7627.
