Jerome R. Jerry Meek, 57, died at his home in New Berlin on Friday, May 24.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, the former Jody Holzem and two sons, Jake and Josh. He is further survived by siblings, Janet (Frank) Sardina, Joyce (Richard) Green, Joanne (the late, Keith) Woitekaites, Jenny (Ken) Lex, Julie (Jeff) Wendt, Jim (Jo), Jeff (Penny) and Jay (Dee) Meek; mother-in-law, Joan Holzem; in-laws, Steve (Maria) Holzem, M.J. Wildman, Meri-Beth Holzem and Scott Holzem; his second family the Kempkas and other relatives and friends both in Milwaukee and Up North.
Preceding him in death were his parents, John A. and Bernie Meek; two brothers, John W. and Joseph and a brother-in-law, Rick Holzem.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30 at Jelacic Funeral Home, 5639 W. Hampton AVe., Milwaukee from 4 p.m. until services at 7 p.m. A memorial service to celebrate his life and to share stories will be held Friday, May 31 at Dan and Jims Riverside, Crivitz at 1 p.m.
