A celebration of life gathering was held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 26 at the Hoof Funeral Home in Reedsburg, for Michael E. Schultz, 62, of Reedsburg, formerly of Peshtigo. He died on Thursday, May 23 at University Hospital in Madison.
Born on Jan. 20, 1951 in Neenah, he was married to the former Cheryl J. Prestine. He worked as an over the road truck driver, most recently with Skinner Transport of Reedsburg. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl; two children, Karen (Rick) Fitzgerald of Reedsburg and Michael (special friend, Sabrina) Schultz of Winter Haven, Fla.; two grandchildren; two sisters, Beverly (Ron) Larson and Barbara Schultz both of Green Bay; a brother, Robert (Gail) Schultz of Texas and other relatives and friends.
