Carol C. Barrette, 87, of Menominee passed away on Sunday, June 9 at Sun Valley Homes in Marinette.
Born Nov. 17 1925 to the late Arthur and Eva (Parsek) Vandenburg in Menominee, she graduated from Menominee High School in 1943 and married Robert Barrette on Jan. 11, 1947.
Her husband, Robert survives, along with three daughters, Laurie Barrette-Shoshan of Bell Cannon, Calif., Julie Barrette of Milwaukee and Paula Barrette of Boston, Ma.; four sons, Mike (Marcia), Pat (Rayleen), Tom (Jodi) and David (Sally Larson), all of Menominee; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Warren Vandenburg.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date and a full obituary will follow. Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home is assisting the family.
