THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
The Emergency Rescue Squad, Inc. took delivery of two new ambulances Thursday, June 6. One of the units, 882 will be located in Peshtigo, and the other 883, will be in the Marinette and Menominee area. Replacement of these vehicles was only made possible by the support of people in each of the communities served by ERS. The annual fund drive generated most of the revenue for ERS, according to Greg Loll, ERS president. Both vehicles are now in service. The ERS, Inc. Board of Directors authorized borrowing money to pay for the new squads in January with the loan to be paid back over five years.
