Linda M. Gospodarek, 66, a lifetime resident of Green Bay, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born Aug. 4, 1946 to the late Donald and Mildred "Biddy" (DeBrue) Jacobs, she was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy. She married Larry J. Pierquet Sept. 3, 1966 and later married Phil Gospodarek Oct. 9, 2004.
She loved animals and spent her free time working with horses and riding her own horse Celtic. She especially enjoyed her pet cats and birds.
Her husband, Phil Gospodarek survives, along with a daughter and two sons, Lauri (Bruce) Facile of Webster, Minn., Mark (Shelly) Pierquet of Armstrong Creek and Paul (Christine) Pierquet of Ukraine and their father, Larry J. Pierquet of Coleman; eight grandchildren; a brother, John (Connie) Jacobs of Oconto Falls; two brothers-in-law, Aubrey Milbach and Don Gospodarek; a sister-in-law, Cherie (Terry) Therrien and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Milbach and stepfather, Delbert J. Greenwood.
Family and friends called Saturday, June 15 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Green Bay from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12:30 p.m.
