Shad A. Rabe-Dalton, 19, of Oconto Falls died suddenly on Tuesday afternoon, June 11 as the result of an ATV accident.
Born Feb. 2, 1994 in Green Bay to Craig Rabe and Sara Dalton, he lived in Green Bay and moved to Oconto Falls in the sixth grade where he attended public schools. He was currently working for Robert McDermind Auto Salvage & Towing.
As the oldest grandchild he was a born leader who didnt mind taking risks. He was protective of his family and loved the outdoors riding dirt bikes, snowmobiles and raced dune buggies. As a young man who seemed to show no fear, he lived a full and complete life for his 19 years.
Surviving are his parents, Craig and Heather Rabe of Oconto Falls; Sara Dalton and Jeremiah Bartol of Green Bay; siblings, Tor, Anna, Kari, Brady and Destiny; paternal grandparents, Carol and Kevin Gunderson of Pulcifer and Lynn and Gary Phillips of Sobieski; maternal grandparents, Robert and Lynn Dalton of Green Bay; two aunts, Kellie (Daryl) Nooyen and Michelle (Peter) Wainio; an uncle, Robert (Jenny) Dalton, jr.; seven cousins and many good friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal great-grandparents.
Visitation was held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 14 at Hillside Assembly of God Church, Gillett. Visitation continued on Saturday, June 15 after 9:30 a.m. at the church until time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Paul Carlson officiated and burial followed in Nicolet Memorial Gardens, Green Bay.
