Nancy Lee Kirby, 63, of Menominee passed away on Wednesday, July 3.
Born on Nov. 29, 1949 in Marinette to the late Walton and Anna Mae (Hanson) Erickson, she graduated from Menominee High School in 1967 and also from Spencerian College in Milwaukee.
She married Jeffery Kirby on Feb. 14, 1970 in Menominee and worked as a secretary at the Luther Home in Marinette for over 24 years, retiring in April of 2011. She enjoyed taking rides in her convertible but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years Jeffery Kirby; two daughters, Nikki (Tom) Leow of Marinette and Kelly Kirby of Menominee; four grandchildren; two sisters, Raeleen Rupert and Shelby McBride, both of Marinette and many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held at Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home in Menominee on Sunday, July 7 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee, Mich.
