Kenneth E. Tieman
Kenneth E. Tieman, 81, of the Town of Porterfield passed away on Tuesday, July 9 at his home.
Born on Sept. 19, 1931 in Thorp to Earl and Pearl (Padre) Tieman, he grew up in the Thorp area and after leaving home at age 11, lived in various places before joining the military.
He married Barbara Bruemmer on June 23, 1973 and together they owned a convenience store in Crivitz. He also worked as a mechanic and later in the office at Marinette Marine Corp. as a consultant for the Navy. He enjoyed woodworking, was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a lifetime member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; a daughter, Jeanne Roberts; a stepson, Art Andris; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Earl; two sisters, Mona and Maxine and brothers-in law, Richard and Robert Bruemmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John and Loren; a sister, Betty; his mother and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Silas Bruemmer and a brother-in-law, Silas Bruemmer, jr.
A family service will be held at a later date. Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home, Marinette is serving the family.
