Dorothy L. Beaudo
Dorothy Lorraine Beaudo, 90, of Menominee passed away on Wednesday, July 25.
Born on March 11, 1923 in Marinette to the late Joseph and Philomen (Dennie) Audit, she graduated from Marinette High School Class of 1941. She married Ervin Gus Beaudo on July 7, 1951 in Marinette and he preceded her in death on Nov. 8, 1994.
She worked at the Boreal Glove factory for 10 years and was a homemaker as well. She liked to do word search puzzles and knit and crochet. Her most precious times were spent with her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed special gatherings and wonderful times at the Audit family cottage.
She is survived by three sons, David (Pam) Beaudo, Dick (Cindy) Beaudo and Don (Debbie) Beaudo, all of Menominee; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Holquist of Marinette and Lorraine Wangerin of Peshtigo; brothers-in-law, Ralph Sorensen of Menominee and Robert Greening in Manitowoc and many other family members and friends.
Along with her parents and her husband, Ervin, she was preceded in death by six sisters, Lucille Wiltzius, Ernestine Huempfner, Joyce Audit, Yvonne Kowalski, Florence Sorensen and Theresa Greening and a brother, Joe Audit.
Visitation took place at Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home on Sunday, July 28 from 4 p.m. until time of the vigil prayer service at 6 p.m. with Fr. Mark McQuesten presiding. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, July 29 at 11 a.m. at Resurrection Parish in Menominee. Fr. McQuesten officiated and burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee.
