Richard F. Desotell
Richard F. Desotell, 77, of Menominee passed away on Tuesday, July 30, at Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette.
Born on Feb. 16, 1936 to the late Harris and Maybelle (DuCharme) Desotell in Menominee, he graduated from Menominee High School Class of 1955 and served in the United States Army.
He worked at Kargard Industries for 30 years and then at Lloyd-Flanders, retiring in 1998. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, metal detecting, gambling and watching the Menominee Maroons Junior Varsity and Varsity football teams.
He is survived by three daughters, Betty Desotell, Barbara (Steve) Hansen and Amy (Mike) Desotell; three sons, Henry (Sherry) Desotell, Harris (Terry) Desotell and Kim (Lorrie) Desotell; a brother, Robert (Sandy) Desotell; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with special friend, John King.
Visitation was held at Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home on Monday, Aug. 5 from 4 p.m. until time of the vigil prayer service at 6 p.m. conducted by Deacon Steve Gretzinger.
