Ralph J. Rasmussen
Ralph J. Rasmussen, 81, former Kewaunee resident, entered into eternal life on Saturday, Aug. 3, at Manor Care-West Nursing Facility in Green Bay.
Born June 6, 1932 in Two Rivers to the late Charles and Mary Krizek Rasmussen, he graduated from Mishicot High School and married the former Ruth Hoerres May 22, 1965 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Two Rivers. She preceded him in death March 11, 2007. He farmed in the Kewaunee area for many years and also worked for the Mirro Corporation.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline and Dan Wauters of Kewaunee, a son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Deirdre Rasmussen of Green Bay, one granddaughter; three brothers, Robert (Helen) Rasmussen of Denmark, Charles (Judy) Rasmussen of Manitowoc, Richard Rasmussen of Pembine; five sisters, Violet Weinberger of Sheboygan, Jeanette (Jerome) Kornik of Two Rivers, Jean (Harold) Kabot of Oshkosh, Darlene Eisenmann of Mishicot, Kathleen (Frank) Pietroske of Two Rivers; nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was also preceded in death by a brother, James Rasmussen.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home, 344 So. State St., Mishicot with Deacon Robert Pribek officiating. Burial will be in St. Isidore the Farmer Parish Cemetery in Tisch Mills. Relatives and friends may call after 5 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home until the time of service at 7 p.m.
