Jean F. May, 87, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 8, at Rennes Health Center-West in Peshtigo.
She was born on Oct. 8, 1925, in Benton Harbor, Mi. to Frank and Mae (Morois) Peanosky and married Harold L. May on March 6, 1943. She worked as a sales associate at Prange Way.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth (Sandra) May of Greenfield; a daughter-in-law, Anita May of Marinette; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen (Lloyd) Peterson and a brother, Phil (Joyce) Peanosky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; a son, Harold May; a sister, Shirley Mumpy and brothers, Dick and Allen Peanosky.
Friends may call at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 17 from 3 p.m. until time of memorial service at 4:30 p.m. with Rev. Craig Mansur officiating.
