Ruch A. McCue
Ruth A. McCue, 61 of Crivitz, formerly of Sheboygan, passed away on Monday, Aug. 12 at Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette.
Born Dec. 1, 1951, in Sheboygan, daughter of James and Laura (Bau) Schwarten, she was a 1970 graduate of Sheboygan South High School and on June 3, 1972 she married Dennis M. McCue in Sheboygan. She was employed at Acuity Insurance Co. for 25 years until her retirement in 2007 and was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Sheboygan, the Red Hat Society- Dockside Chapter and the Sheboygan Bowling Association.
She enjoyed bowling, karaoke, boating, spending time up north, the Christmas season, holiday family gatherings, and spending time with her friends.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Dennis; a daughter, Shelly (Josh) Koalenz of Sheboygan; a son, Bryan McCue of Sheboygan; two grandchildren and two brothers, James (Gloria) Schwarten and Richard Schwarten both of Sheboygan.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service to celebrate her life was held at 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 19 at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls, officiated by Rev. Mark Jaberg.
Relatives and friends called at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the time of the service at 6 pm. The staff of the Wenig Funeral Home of Sheboygan Falls assisted the family with arrangements.
A memorial fund has been established in her name for the Parkinson Foundation.
