Coleman Legion Plans Flag Disposal Sept. 21
Issue Date: August 29, 2013
The Kalbes Seewald American Legion Post 280 of Coleman invites the public to attend their annual flag disposal ceremony at the Coleman Legion Hall at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21. The ceremony will be followed by a chicken dinner and raffles with family fun for everyone. Winning tickets will also be drawn for the Legion gun raffle and for the autographed Packer football.
Several worn out flags have been collected during the year, however, flags can still be dropped off at Pelkins Piggly Wiggly, Ace Hardware or the Coleman Shell Station.
New flags are available for purchase from the Legion at a cost of $17 (3x5), $22 (4x6) and $27 (5x8). To purchase a flag or a $10 ticket for the Packer football, contact Legion Commander Ken Stodola 920-897-2315 or Melvin Brault 920-897-3580.
