Roberta E. Casper, 85, of Amberg, passed away at home on Friday, Aug. 2nd surrounded by her family.
Born in Cobden, Ill on Nov. 23, 1927, daughter of George and Bessie (Smith) Leggans, she was united in marriage to Charles Casper on Dec. 8, 1945 and he preceded her in death. She was a kind, giving and helping woman who raised seven children, enjoyed canning, crocheting, tending to her flower beds and cherished time spent with her family.
She is survived by her five children, Charles (Linda) Casper, Linda (Tom) Boffer, Terry (Sue) Casper, Allen (Barb) Casper, and Charles Casper, jr.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary (Don) Descott and Shirley Schuetter and numerous extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; a son, Larry; a daughter, Mariane; a grandson, Larry and five brothers and sisters.
Family and friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31st at Messar-Roubal Funeral Home in Wausaukee. Messar-Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting the family.
