Thomas Allen Cardinal
Thomas Allen Cardinal, 52, Oconto, passed away Monday, Sept. 2, after a strong fight for 23 years due to injuries sustained in a vehicle accident May 5, 1990.
He was born May 2, 1961, in Milwaukee to the late Joseph and Audrey (Jackson) Cardinal. He married Cindy Smith on Nov. 28, 1981, moved to Oconto at the age of 18 and started his career in road construction. He also worked for the City of Oconto.
He was a fun loving family oriented man, who enjoyed everything outdoors, family gatherings, the Packers, and was always caring, giving, and lending a helping hand.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy, Oconto; a daughter, Katie (Corey) Cardinal, Oconto; two sons, Chad (Casey) Cardinal and Joseph Cardinal, both of Oconto; a sister, Lori (Milton) Kilbey, Milwaukee; three brothers, Michael (Kevin) Cardinal, Minnesota; Patrick (Laurie) Cardinal, Milwaukee; Daniel (Melissa) Cardinal, Oconto; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, with Memorial services conducted at 7 p.m. with Deacon Walter Kaszynski officiating.
