The Pound Woman's Club began the new club year with a pot luck supper at the home of Nancy Gross. The club made a donation to the Coleman Area Library in memory of the late Evelyn Loeffler, a club member. Two Coleman High School scholarship recipients were Mason Mergener, son of Roxanne and Bruce Mergener, and Mitchel Woulf, son of Bob and Anna Woulf. Annual donations will be given to the Pound Fire Department, Coleman Rescue Squad, Coleman Area Library, Environmental Center and Reading Program.
