Peshtigo Finishes 3-3 At

Tough Shawano Invite

The Peshtigo volleyball team fared well against unfamiliar competition Saturday at the Shawano Invitational, defeating Kewaunee 22-25, 27-25, 15-12; beating Clintonville 25-20, 25-20, falling to Oconto Falls 19-25, 8-25; losing to Oconto 25-23, 21-25, 11-15; coming up short against the host team Shawano 17-25, 25-22, 8-15 before defeating Valders 25-19, 25-23.

"It was quite a roller coaster of a day," said head coach Lynn Tonn-Kostreva. "We would have some really great games and then we 'd turn around in the next game and really struggle. We did finish 3-3 overall, which really isn 't bad considering the talent that was there."
