THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Karen Nicklaus, 64, passed away peacefully on Sept. 12. Born July 15, 1949, she was a very talented homebody who enjoyed her home, office, arts and crafts, personal projects and cats.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Stromberg; and uncle, Rodney Hoover.
Survivors include her mother, Margaret Stromberg and her husband, Gary, both of Plover; two stepsons, Stephen (Jodi) Nicklaus, Janesville, and David (Teresa) Nicklaus, Green Bay; a brother, Greg (Gail) Stromberg of Sussex; and two aunts, Harriet Christeck of Peshtigo and Kay Hoover of Greenfield.
Funeral service date is pending. Mid-Wisconsin Cremation Society/Higgins/John J. Buettgen Funeral Home is assisting the family.
