Anne Marie Nemetz Fisher
Anne Marie Nemetz Fisher, 102, passed away on Sept. 13, at St. Mary's Care Center.
Born on April 3, 1911 in Menominee, Mich. to Matt and Marie (Brousek) Nemetz, she married Fred Ihler in 1935 and he preceded her in death in 1983. In 1986, she then married Lester Fisher in Marinette at Sacred Heart Church and he died in 1995.
A member of Holy Family Church Altar Society, Marinette County Historical Society, Bohemian Lodge, Horizons Unlimited, M&M Foundation, Elks Club, she was also a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader. She enjoyed cooking, baking, entertaining, traveling and was an avid Packer fan. She had a happy life with many friends.
She is survived by a son, Bill Ihler; a daughter, Susan Ihler; a son-in-law, Rick Reichardt; two grandchildren; a close family friend, Diane Schrager and a sister, Mary Helen Plautz.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Jim and a sister, Antionette.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Taylor Street, Marinette, on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 11 a.m. with burial to follow.
