Albert John Parkinson
Albert John Parkinson, 89, of Menominee passed away Saturday Sept. 28 at Bay Area Medical Center.
Born on May 14, 1924 in Menominee to the late Floyd and Ida (Galey) Parkinson, he worked in maintenance at Lloyd Manufacturing, Roubal's Nursing Home and Prescotts. He enjoyed collecting recycables around town while riding his bike. He was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church.
He is survived by a half-brother, William Parkinson; a half-sister, Bev Francken; friends at Heartland Manor and three generations of the Barley Family that considered him part of the family.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Henry, Robert, Milton and Floyd and two sisters, Mabel and Patricia.
Friends may call at Anderson Kell Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 3 after 5 p.m. until time of Funeral services at 6:30 pm. Deacon Vince Beckley will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery.
