Myron Van De Walle
Myron "Jim" Van De Walle, 82, of Seymour passed away on Saturday, Sept. 28 at St. Mary's Hospital, Green Bay.
Born on May 12, 1931 the son of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Van Lysel) Van De Walle, he married Dorothy Herrmann on Oct. 5, 1954 and she preceded him in death June 11, 2012.
He was a Korean Army Veteran, a member of Seymour VFW and the American Legion. The couple operated a dairy farm for many years near Seymour and enjoyed wintering in Texas. He also enjoyed trips to the casino and playing cards.
Survivors include his seven children, Sandy (Bob) Meulemans, Wrightstown, Dennis (Nancy) Van De Walle, Judy (Bob) Boyea, both of Seymour, Barbara (David) Techlin, Neenah, Pat (Bob) Arndt, Appleton, Lori (Jon) Van Rens, Oconto and Jeff (Julie) Van De Walle, Marinette; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Earl (Margaret) Van De Walle and Larry (Marie) Van De Walle; a sister, Donna Treml and sisters-in-law, Helen Mankins and Lois Herrmann.
He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Don Moder; a brother, Don; two sisters, Lorraine (Gene) and Delores (Dave) and a brother-in-law, Bob Herrmann.
Friends called at St. John's Catholic Church, Seymour on Tuesday, Oct. 1, from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. with Fr. Bob Kabat officiating . Military honors followed at the church with burial at the Veterans Cemetery in King. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour assisted the family with arrangements.
