THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Harold Buster Cole, 70, of Daggett, MI. passed away unexpectedly on Thursday Oct. 3 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay surrounded by his family.
Born Jan. 17, 1943 in Wausaukee to the late Raymond and Rose Mae (Chaney) Cole, he married Patricia Marie Nelson May 18, 1963 in Menominee and was a self employed logger.
He loved being outdoors, enjoyed helping his family, friends, and neighbors, but his best times were spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Marie of Daggett; three daughters, Sandra Kurtz (Rick Williams), Kathryn Cole (Jeff Harris) and Bonnie (Tony) Behnke; a son, Tim Cole; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, Robert (Judy) Cole, Richard (Donna) Cole and Steven Cole; a sister, Barbara (Perry) Nelson and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Courtney Cole; two brothers William and Michael Cole and two sisters, Sharon and Betty Cole.
Private family services will be held. Anderson Diehm Funeral Home assisted the family.
