Frank J. Gattuso jr., 75, of Wausaukee, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his home on Friday, Oct. 4.
Born in Chicago, Ill. on Nov. 16, 1937, son of the late Frank and Anne (Kacalo) Gattuso sr., he married the former Miriam Rivera. He was a carpenter by trade and built his family's house. He loved northern Wisconsin, was an avid hunter, fisherman and also a boxer in his younger days.
He enjoyed playing pool, and was a member of Joe's Wausaukee Bowl team. He was competitive in regards to winning games but most importantly he loved the comradery with his friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Miriam; children, Frank III, Nicholas John, Vince Anthony Gattuso and Laura Van Ess; five grandchildren; numerous extended family and many friends.
Visitation was held at 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6 at Messar-Roubal Funeral Home and continued at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Wausaukee on Monday, Oct. 7 from 9 a.m. until time of the Mass Of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Father Robert Kacalo officiated with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Wausaukee. Messar-Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee assisted the family with arrangements.
