Richard A. Klatt
Richard A. Klatt, 66, of Armstrong Creek passed away Tuesday, Sept. 29 at the Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain.
Born Feb. 10, 1951 in Goodman to Melvin and Lois (Smitham) Klatt, he married Christine Jones and they lived in the Milwaukee area where he worked in the sanitation department as a garbage truck driver before moving to Armstrong Creek.
He enjoyed tinkering in the garage working on cars and loved hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Christine of Armstrong Creek; a daughter, Denise (Michael) Wheaton and a son, Richard jr., both of West Allis; a sister, Nancy (Chester) Pyrcz , and a brother Terry (Nancy) Klatt, both of Armstrong Creek and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Joe.
A graveside service will held on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 11 a.m. at Glenwood Cemetery in Goodman with Deacon Jerry Cross officiating. Weber-Hill Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
