Holly Dawn Elliot
Holly Dawn Elliot, 49, of Menominee, MI., passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at Bay Area Medical Center after years of health struggles.
Born on Dec. 28, 1963, in Santa Rosa, Ca. to Jackie and Frances Elliot, she grew up in the Sturgeon Bay area and graduated from Southern Door High School. She married Timothy Soper in 1984, then moved to Escanaba, and later to Menominee.
She was a dedicated Christian who had a love for a children and was a very giving person. She enjoyed writing poetry, drawing, painting, conversation and taught piano for 15 years.
She is survived by her parents, Fran and Jack Elliot; her children, Timothy Soper and Rachael (Tyler Race) Soper; a brother, David Elliot; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Shannon Kruse.
A family service will be held at a later date. Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home is assisting the family.
