THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Karin Hudson, 47, Peshtigo, died Thursday, Oct. 17 at her home.
Born Nov. 16, 1965 in Chicago, she moved with her family to Amberg and graduated from Wausaukee High School in 1983.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and worked with at risk youth at Libertas in Green Bay and also extensively with victims of domestic abuse. She owned and operated a beauty shop from her home. Her kindness, love and compassion extended to all those in her life.
She is survived by two daughters, Rachel (Glen Sherman) Van, of Green Bay and Brittni (Jason) Gutman, of Arizona; a son, Calvin Van, of Green Bay; three grandchildren; her mother, Lois Hudson, of Amberg; a sister, Kimberly (Dan) Kosmata, of Arizona and a brother, Brad, of Amberg.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Hudson.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 11 a.m. at Interfaith Bible Church in Amberg. In lieu of flowers a Memorial Fund is established by the family. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home, Crivitz is assisting the family with arrangements.
