Robert A. Schaumannage
Robert A. Robin Schaumannage, 73, of Armstrong Creek passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, Oct. 17.
Born in Laona on Aug. 19, 1940, son of Richard and Evelyn (McLain) Schaumann, he married the former Carma Weinfurter on May 6, 1961 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Goodman.
He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, trapping, logging and tending to his garden. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church. Most importantly, he provided for his family and will be missed.
He is survived by his wife, Carma; four children, Robyn Lea (Doug) Hillmann, Jody Palazzo, Shelly Schaumann and Stewart Schaumann; a grandson; a brother, Lee (Arlean) Schauman; a sister, Janis (Bob) Nelson and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son-in-law, Jay Palazzo; a brother, Stuart; an uncle, Walter and an aunt, Helen.
Visitation was held from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in Armstrong Creek and continued at the church on Monday, Oct. 21 at 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery in Fence. Messar-Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee assisted the family with arrangements.
