Kathern A. Kasakaitas
Kathern A. Kasakaitas, 64, of Goodman, passed away Oct. 19 at her home under the care of her family and Unity Hospice.
Born Jan. 2, 1949 in Armstrong Creek to Walter and Eleanor (Staron) Christnovich, she graduated from Goodman High School and married Gary Kasakaitas on Sept. 21, 1968.
Her love for sewing led her to a career as an upholsterer. She also enjoyed fishing. In 2001, the couple began building their home in Goodman during their vacation time and weekends.
She is survived by her husband, Gary, of Goodman; mother, Eleanor, of Goodman; a daughter, Sheri (Alan) Penkala, of Appleton; a son, Mark (Wende) Kasakaitas, of Elk Mound; a sister, Jean Klatt, of South Milwaukee; a brother, Robert (Judy) Christnovich, of Neenah and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter and brothers, Daniel and Walter Jr.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Weber-Hill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
