Harriet A. Tebo, 84, of Stephenson, Mi., passed away Tuesday, Oct.22 at her home surrounded by her family.
Born Aug. 11, 1929 in Stephenson to the late James and Virginia (Bayee) Leaveck, she married Robert Tebo and he preceded her in death.
A devoted mother and homemaker, she owned an d operated a wallpaper and painting business, enjoyed quilting, gardening, and cooking, but her real passion was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church and Mid County VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include a daughter, Connie Johnson, of Menominee; three sons, Jeron (Sharon), Robin (Cathy) and Jerry, all of Stephenson; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Joan Swille, Fran Harris and Sally Rivard and two brothers, Joe and James Leaveck.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Visitation was held Friday, Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. until the VFW Auxiliary service at 11:45 a.m., followed by the funeral service at noon at the church in Stephenson. Rev. David Christenson officiated and burial was in Bethesda Cemetery in Daggett. Anderson Diehm Funeral Home assisted the family.
