Victor C. Nonnweiler, 82, passed away at home on Monday, Oct. 28.
He was an extraordinary man who led a full life and always had a smile and a kind word for children and the elderly. He was proud of his service in the Korean Conflict as a frogman, the precursor to todays Navy Seals.
He was a champion body builder and weight lifter and won Senior Mr. World title three consecutive years in the 80s. He shared the last 30 years of his life with his wife, Mary and step-son, Jason Rogowski. The family will miss him but know he is at home and at peace.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; a son, Victor M. (Lisa) Nonnweiler; a step-son, Jason Rogowski and three brothers, Fred, John and Norman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters; a brother, Eddie and whom he missed the most, daughter, Irene.
Per his request there were no services. Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home assisted the family.
